DTM Round 9 report published

From 28th November to 10th December 2016, the DTM team planned to visit 72 potential displacement sites across the affected districts including that of Dhading district. Of these, 65 were active and hosting 20 households or more in camp-like settings while remaining 7, were found closed or below DTM criteria (20 or more households). These 65 sites were hosting an estimated 3,753households (15,595 people): 7,953 female, 7,642 male and 1,952 children under 5 years old.

DTM Round 8 report published

From 25th July to 02nd August 2016, the DTM team identified and planned to visit 80 potential displacement sites across the affected districts. Of these, 65 were active and hosting 20 households or more in camp-like settings while remaining 15, were found closed or below DTM criteria (20 or more households). These 65 sites were hosting an estimated 4,024 households (18,292 people): 9,293 female, 8,999 male and 2,108 children under 5 years old.

DTM Round 7 findings released

From 9th May to 20th May 2016, the DTM team identified and visited 89 potential displacement sites across the affected districts. Of these, 78 were active and hosting 20 households or more in camp-like settings while remaining 11, including the biggest site (Gupse Pakha, Gorkha) where the government resettled 2,677 IDPs, were found closed or below DTM criteria (20 or more households).

DTM R5 Report published

From mid-September through to 20 November 2015, the DTM team identified and visited 140 potential displacement sites across the affected districts. Of these, 100 were active and hosting 20 households or more in camp-like settings while remaining 40 were found closed or below DTM criteria (20 or more households). These 100 sites were hosting an estimated 8,207 households (40,706 people). Of this population, 20,690 were female, 20,016 male and 5,572 were children under 5 years old.

Completion of R5

The fifth installment of Displacement Tracking Matrix assessment is completed on 10th November. The assessment was carried out from 27th October. DTM Colleagues from Kathmandu, Charikot, Chautara and Gorkha visited different sites from 13 districts.

Winterization Phase I Distribution

Winterization Phase I Distribution carried out in different districts. 7 implementing partners distributed the winterized kits in displacement sites of their respective districts. 3560 Households benefited from the distribution. Planning for Phase II distribution is underway.

DTM R6 Assessment Completed

IOM Nepal CCCM Team has completed the 6th installment of DTM assessment of 107 IDP sites in 12 districts. Out of targeted 107 sites, 25 were found either closed or under criteria and 82 still active. These 82 sites are hosting, 26,272 IDPs of 5,727 Households.

DTM R6 Report Published

11 months after the first earthquake hit Nepal,earthquake victims are still displaced and living in temporary shelter in displaced sites. IOM Nepal, co-lead CCCM Cluster, has conducted the 6th round of DTM assessment and published the information products so as to facilitate the humanitarian organizations to facilitate the assistance process.
